We get a lot of help from our friends from the Garinger High School Occupational Course of Study (OCS). The students have integrated hands-on work hours in their graduation track. Every Wednesday morning they come to Shamrock to tend the gardens and have active lessons in garden ecology.
This summer our hoop house was taken over by weeds. We couldn’t have gotten it back to a manageable state without the help from our OCS students. It’s great to have such helpful neighbors.
